WWDD: what it is and how to use it
What Would Davidson Do is the read I would give you on a call, built from 23 years of my actual work, experiences, and recommendations, delivered by AI in minutes. You bring what's going on. You get my read, my frameworks filled in with your details, a true story from my work when one fits, and the real science behind why it works, with sources named.
Why it exists
It started as a running joke with clients. When they got stuck, they'd ask themselves "What would Davidson do?" Some called their coaching homework and notes their WWDD book. Some said they couldn't unsee what they'd learned.
So I built it. What if they really could ask WWDD, and get an answer based on my actual content, my frameworks, and the science behind them?
Most people who need a second opinion need it today. WWDD takes a minute.
Twenty-three years of consulting judgment, minus the consulting fees.
Every read has nine parts
The read. What's really going on, in two to four sentences.
Three moves, ranked. Who does what, by when, with the exact thing to say, and the tradeoff on each.
What I'd actually do. My pick, and why.
From the field. A true story from my work, used only when it fits. There are 100+ of them and growing, all mine, all de-identified.
The framework, filled in. My framework with your names, your numbers, and your deadline in it.
Why this works. My read from experience, plus the science, with the researcher and book named so you can look it up.
Sources. Real, published research in leadership, behavior change, persuasion, and change management, cited in each read so you can look it up. The library is continually updated.
What changes Monday. Three things you can do before end of day Monday.
The line. One plain sentence you can keep.
What makes it mine
My judgment. 23 years of consulting, coaching, and program design across Fortune 500 and public sector organizations: technology, retail, athletic and consumer brands, industrials, healthcare, insurance, startups, and nonprofits.
Frameworks I actually use with clients. Some are published, cited, and proven. Some are proprietary, developed over years of doing the work. Every read tells you which one it used and why.
My voice. Direct, plain words. It pushes back once before it answers, the way I do.
Real science, named. Every read ends with the mechanism and the source, so you can defend it in a room.
Specific to you. If a read could describe anyone, it isn't done.
How to use it
